The Space
The former sanctuary of the Newent Meeting House is now a climate controlled auditorium with seating up to 145 guests. With a state-of-the-art projection system featuring a 11,000 lumens Panasonic video projector, a new 13-foot screen, and 6 surround sound speakers with 2 additional stage speakers, this space is perfect for showcasing movies and other types of cultural events like music and more. In addition to this new equipment, we have a 16mm arc film projector, 35mm slide equipment, and hookups to allow for large scale presentations to broadcast from your laptop to the big screen.

This Facebook group will be where we will announce the titles of upcoming films. Due to our limited licensing agreement, these movies will only be advertised to members of this special Facebook group so join today for exclusive access. Members of the group can select to receive automatic alerts when new titles or special events get scheduled.
The events will be accompanied by a Lisbon Historical Society concessions booth offering snacks and soft drinks. Funds raised at the concessions booth will help defray expenses associated with this special community centered programming. The films will be offered free of charge, with donations gratefully accepted.
